The Charter School

Excellence for All

School Uniform Policy

Please ensure that you check through the uniform expectations for September carefully to ensure that your child is following the school uniform rules. A couple of key points in particular since we know that a number of you will be purchasing new items of uniform over the summer:

· Only plain black hard leather shoes are acceptable. No canvas or suede shoes, boots, trainers, ‘Vans’ or ‘Converse’ of any description or any other soft trainer style footwear are to be worn. Plain black hard-leather Kicker shoes are acceptable (NB not the soft style).

· Skirts should not be tight-fitting and should be worn at a length that is appropriate for school (to clarify this is roughly 2 inches above the knee). Our clothing suppliers are aware of this rule and have stocked accordingly.

· All students must ensure that they have a school jumper.

White Hall Clothiers in Camberwell are now our official school uniform suppliers. Parents and carers can find them at:

77 Camberwell Rd, Camberwell, London SE5 0EZ, (Near Albany Road Walworth Road end) or you can call them on 020 7703 3604 or visit www.whitehallclothiers.com

Open hours are 9.15am - 5.30pm Closed on Sundays.

In order to continue our commitment to excellence, please note that from September, students in breach of our uniform code will be issued with a straight red card and the item will be confiscated to be collected by parents.
